Broken Hill
I'm staying at the Broken Hill racecourse as many others are doing.
We're all in the same boat us travelers, wondering where to go next. I'll just hang out here for the rest of the week and see what happens.
It just so happens that where I'm camped the golf course is right next door, what a coincident. I may have to have a game there.
I have played this course a number of times before back in the late 90's when I worked out here for a few months. I went and checked the course out and it has deteriorated a lot since then. The greens are pretty bad. Shame because it was in top condition last time, but I'll manage and another fellow camper has arranged to play with me soon, sounds like a challenge.
I haven't had time to look around and take photos or create much of a story and I will do so by the end of the week.

I've been here for a week and I haven't got much to show for it. I've mainly been catching up on a few issues with the van, but that's all sorted now.
It was only last night and this morning that I finally got out to see some things.
Last night I went to the sculptures and enjoyed taking a lot of shots. And I went out to Silverton and enjoyed a counter lunch at the famous pub.
Tomorrow I'm heading out to Tibooburra Which is just short of the Queensland boarder. I have a pass to cross and I will be travelling with two other vans. I'm not sure where I'll end up but there will be a lot of dirt roads coming up.
Sorry I haven't been to active as my internet is terrible here, and no doubt it will be not too good in the next few days/weeks.
I'll enter more photo's of Broken Hill at a later date.
