I ended up in Corrigin , about 3.5 hrs east of Perth working on the harvest of wheat, barley, canola, lupins and hay.
I spent about a month on this rake.
Some of these paddocks were huge. Two of us on rakes took 5 days in this one paddock.
This is the shed we were to fill. Hard to see it here but its bloody big.
This is towards the end. I couldn't believe that we would fill it. But we did.
Hay making all finished and now for the grain harvest. About eight weeks all up.
This is a chaser bin that I spent most of my time on. This one holds 30 tons.
We had three headers and two chaser bins.
Click on the below link and that is pretty close to what we did. 10 - 14 hrs / day!

There were always great sunsets but I was too busy to get a photo. This is the best I could do through the windscreen.
My favorite shot taken of the road train loading. If you look closely you'll see the operator standing on top of the truck.
A great sight the three headers working together. They are driven buy GPS so each cut is within centimeters accurate, amazing to watch.

My little Irish pal celebrating on the final cut for the harvest.
What a long haul, 10 weeks in all.
A great experience.
