Rottnest Island
Half hour ferry ride and I was on Rottnest Island leaving a very hot Perth behind (42.5*).
I hired a bike as there are bike tracks all over the Island.
As it was school holidays the place was pretty busy, especially with the huge amount of luxury motor yachts and party goers around.. But that all adds to a great atmosphere.
Great little beaches all around this island.

I really loved this island and so glad I made the effort to see it.
Along the track I came across this very friendly an very thirsty quokka. She drank just about all the water we had,
Some quakka's hang around the shopping areas and I noticed one asleep inside an ice creamery.
